Islander Games for Good

Seattle Folks, mark your calendars for “Islander Games for Good” at Mercer Island’s South Mercer Playfields on Saturday, November 22, 12:00-3:00pm!

MIHS students Joey Weiss and Andy Skimming are bringing the Mercer Island community together for an afternoon of friendly competition, laughter, and fun with the goal of starting a community conversation about mental health. High schoolers and middle schoolers of all abilities are invited to participate in a wiffle ball home run derby, 5-on-5 flag football games, and a soccer match. Community members of all ages are invited to cheer for participants, enjoy refreshments from a local food truck, and enjoy DJ’d tunes. TSF will have a booth at the event and President Kasey Taylor Thompson will be giving a brief speech about the importance of mental wellness prioritization within the community.

Please sign-up to participate. No sign-ups needed for audience members.
